We are located just outside jerome, Idaho. While Our presence is more online, we can be found here, on etsy - www.zephyrzoos.com, and you might catch us at a local Maker’s Market. While it is still a work in process, we are trying to arrange for our small shop to have shopping hours for customers.

Ingredient quality and safety?

We’ve always been a little obsessive about ingredients — the good kind of obsessive. We choose what’s safe, skin-loving, and effective, even when it costs more, because taking shortcuts just isn’t in our DNA.

Our Fragrances have always Been phthalate-free. We have also started shifting to fragrances Manufactured With No Organ Toxins, Acute Toxins, CMRs, Or ingredients on the California Prop 65 list.

When it comes to our goat milk products, that caution kicks into overdrive. Goat milk has this certain je ne sais quoi — a lush, creamy magic that makes skin swoon. But since it’s a gift from our goats (and not a shelf-stable ingredient from a lab), it demands careful handling to keep it pure, fresh, and worry-free.

We’re always experimenting, upgrading, and fine-tuning — finding better, safer ways to protect what makes our products special. Sometimes that means using what works right now, while keeping our eyes on what’s next. Because at Mad House, we’ll always choose what’s best for your skin and our craft — not just what’s easy or cheap.

What is your Shipping Timeframe?

We hustle hard to get your goodies out fast — but production hit a pause when our Maker fileted the palm of her hand (yep, go ahead… try palm reading us now! 😂). The good news? She’s been healing, and production has been back in action!

Most of our products are made fresh to order — no marinating on a shelf here. Once your batch is ready (and fully cured if it needs to be), it ships out the very next day. *Soaps that are listed are already made and cured.

Long story short: a little wait for fresh, handmade goodness — totally worth it. 💛

Do you support any causes?

We’ve got a few causes that hit close to home — the kind that tug at your heart and remind you why kindness matters.

Right now, we send soap wherever it’s needed most — to communities hit by natural disasters and to locals who could simply use a small, sudsy reminder that someone cares.

Looking ahead, we plan to put our money (and our bubbles) where our heart is by donating a portion of product sales to nonprofit organizations that are doing real, meaningful work:

• Scleroderma Research Foundation – This one’s personal. The Mad Dame behind Mad House was handed this rare and relentless diagnosis, and we’re determined to help raise awareness, fund research, and support the fight for a cure.

• The Trevor Project – Because every young person deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported. This incredible nonprofit provides 24/7 crisis care and a lifeline for LGBTQ+ youth.

We might be a little wild around here, but our chaos always comes with compassion. 💛
